Do we need to get any permits on Hawaii?
Yes! Permits are normally needed if you aren't eloping or having your ceremony in a private location. But you don't need to worry about that because I got you on obtaining those for your big day!
What should we know about Hawaii before traveling there?
Respect the 'aina, the land, the people. Although it will be your destination to elope and get married, these islands are sacred homes and spaces. What a privilege it is to be able to travel here to celebrate something so joyful and surrounded by breathtaking views the islands give us.
When is the best time to elope in Hawaii?
We have beautiful weather all year round, so you can't really go wrong. Winter is normally rainy season, Summers are a little hotter. The most ideal timeframes are from April-May, September-October.
What should we wear if we want to elope on the beach?
This is your day, so it's completely up to you! I would recommend something flowy, breathable, easy to move in since we'll be walking through the sand and the waves.
Can we bring guests to our elopement?
Of course! The term "elopement" has definitely evolved and no longer just means "the two of you" especially if you want some of your loved ones there to celebrate with you. Small weddings are also being called elopements nowadays.
